Wait for it…

In this video, I play a topsy-turvy chess game in the London Opening TRAP in which I get counter-trapped. Craziness then ensued leading to a MUST WATCH finale.

  1. I know the knight takes f7 move but in a game, just like Eric, I can never find all the tactic to close out that tricky line.

  2. Thanks for showing that line and what to play for that trap to work.

  3. Wow, I’m pleasantly surprised that this wasn’t click bait. That end was mind blowing

  4. That would have been nice if his rook wasn't there.

  5. extremely surprised to have seen 25. … Nxe4 before either player did apparently.
i just assumed until 6:35 that it had just been a bad move too far in the future for me to understand.

  6. “Wait a minute…What’s happening?”

  7. That lost mate(stockfish found) was kind of crazy.

  8. I will put this in my brain chess database. Thanks for sharing

  9. That was a great game! Intriguing and well paced.

  10. Very cool game. The whole first 20 moves felt wild and tactical while also normal and controlled at the same time…

  11. I spent the whole time waiting for the "Oh No! my Queen!" moment, but it never happened. I guess an under promotion with a fork and winning a queen can make up for that, just this once.

  12. He has the most exciting games and still manages to remain so calm…all throughout…🙌

  13. I like how you explain your thought process, it's very instructive and educational, not just in this video but most of your videos. It's more informative than watching Carlsen or other GMs on YouTube. And you're a nicer guy to boot.

  14. Eric almost (rightfully) got an orgasm from this underpromotion.

  15. Nasty underpromotion! Eric is an absolute tactics WIZARD!!!!
