  1. i make stalemates on my own when im in the possition of white

  2. the opponent had 27 seconds left

edit: this comment section is so weird. i always get over 100 likes on my comments xD

  3. At this point, I see this trap more often than the scholar's mate.

  4. They don't call it stalemate anymore in the YT chess community, there is only the Rosen Trap

  5. When you watch too many dirty stalemate videos, you immediately recognize the pattern at the start of the video.

  6. No one expects you to NOT take the queen lol

  7. "And still I see no changes, can't a brother get a little peace?
There's war in the streets and war in the Middle East
    Instead of war on poverty,
they got a war on drugs so the police can bother me"
    – Chael P. Sonnen

  8. I like the last dialogue
    "KIDS" 😂😂😂

  9. Why do they keep premoving against him? 😂😂

  10. The classic “That’s why you never resign” at the end…

  11. 0:29 Eric really thought that he could capture Queen with pawn 🙂 Eric is a real legend.

  12. Eric is better in statemating opponent than defeating them

  13. so fun thing. If White promoted the a-pawn first, and then took on c2, Rosen would have no choice but to capture the queen. And then there is no stalemate.

  14. Weeb had 27 seconds there was no reason to auto move like that. Deserved that loss.

  15. 0:29 Damn! That "awkward" pre-move. Pretty much relatable. I do that whenever I'm helpless and find no hope in winning.

  16. I got my first Rosen trap yesterday!! Earlier in the tournament I lost a game on time, one move before draw by insufficient material. The Rosen trap more than made up for it 🙂

  17. Eric… I am convinced you are the friendliest psychopath out there 😱

  18. Love the combination of thumbnail and title.

  19. The dude premoved that pawn thinking he was going to take the Queen 🤣

  20. That's why you should never do those stupid pre-moves. If you do, then exploiting your mistake is perfectly legitimate.

  21. Eric when he wins: ok
Eric when he's able to draw: yess let's go let's gooo

  22. Only a matter of time before even FIDE will recognize a stalemate as the Rosen Trap
